Descrição Produto

The 140kg Shock Absorbing Lanyard is personal protective equipment designed to arrest accidental falls and dissipate impact energy for users weighing up to 140kg. This fall arrest device is intended for professionals in civil construction, industrial assembly, and technical maintenance who work at height on structures, roofs, or scaffolding.

The integrated elastic webbing follows the worker's natural movement and retracts when not under direct tension. This elastic design reduces slack in the webbing at the work platform, preventing trips and accidental snagging on edges or rebar. The shock absorber activates progressively in the event of a free fall, limiting the impact force transmitted to the operator's body.

Features

Load capacity: maximum user weight up to 140 kg
Total length: 180 cm maximum extension with connectors included
Structural connector: scaffold hook with a 52 mm opening
Body connector: automatic locking hook for attachment to the harness
Webbing structure: retractable elastic webbing to reduce slack and knots
Shelf life: up to 10 years from the date of manufacture
Packaging: supplied in individual retail packaging

Certifications and Standards

EN 354: lanyards and fall arresters
EN 355: energy absorbers designed for support up to 140 kg
EN 362: connectors for fall protection systems
CE Certification
UKCA Marking

Uses

The device connects the operator's safety harness to rigid anchor points or scaffolding tubes. It is suitable for construction painters, metal structure assemblers, maintenance electricians, and technical teams on construction sites.

This fall protection connecting element ensures stable user restraint and meets the regulatory requirements for working at height.
