Proper maintenance is essential to preserve the flame retardant properties of the flame retardant jacket. The instructions on the product's internal label must be strictly followed. In general, washing at temperatures no higher than 60°C is recommended, avoiding the use of bleach or fabric softeners, which may compromise the effectiveness of the protection. The use of aggressive chemical products is not recommended. RAG Tailors' flame retardant hooded jackets are made from fabrics that maintain their fire resistance even after several washes, when properly cared for.
