Hi-Vis Waterproof Rain Suits PPE

High visibility PPE rain suits offer dual protection: they are waterproof, protecting the wearer from heavy rain and humidity, and reflective, increasing visibility in dark or poorly lit environments. This type of workwear is essential for professionals in construction, road transport, railway work, public works and road maintenance. In addition to reducing the risk of accidents, they comply with the European standards required for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), namely EN ISO 20471, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments. At RAG Tailors, you will find durable and functional options, ideal for intensive use.

To choose the ideal high visibility PPE rain suit, it is essential to consider the type of professional activity, the level of exposure to adverse weather conditions and the safety requirements of the sector. You should check that the garment is EN ISO 20471 certified, which ensures effective visibility, as well as class classification (1, 2 or 3), depending on the reflective and fluorescent surface. Professionals working in high traffic areas should opt for Class 3 clothing, the highest level of protection. RAG Tailors offers PPE rain suits with different levels of protection, always focusing on durability, comfort and technical performance.

EN ISO 20471 defines three classes of high visibility clothing, based on the total area of fluorescent and reflective materials: Class 1 (low visibility), Class 2 (intermediate visibility) and Class 3 (maximum visibility). Class 3 is suitable for high-risk situations, such as working on roads with heavy traffic, while Class 1 is intended for tasks with less exposure. RAG Tailors’ high visibility PPE rain suits are designed to provide Class 3 protection whenever necessary, ensuring maximum safety without compromising comfort and mobility. This differentiation allows you to choose the right PPE for the demands of the workplace.

Proper maintenance of your high visibility PPE rain suit is essential to preserve its waterproof and reflective properties. It is recommended to follow the manufacturer's instructions, avoiding the use of bleach, fabric softeners and high temperature washing, which can compromise the reflective material. Washing should be done at moderate temperatures and the garment should be allowed to dry naturally, without direct exposure to intense heat sources. To store it, hang it in a dry and airy place, avoiding direct sunlight. At RAG Tailors, our PPE rain suits are created with high-strength fabrics, which facilitate maintenance and extend the useful life of the equipment.

High visibility rainwear used as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must meet strict standards to ensure the safety of the wearer. The main certification is EN ISO 20471, which defines the minimum requirements for visibility, fluorescent colour and retro-reflective stripes. For protection against water, compliance with EN 343, which regulates resistance to water penetration and vapour permeability, is also important. RAG Tailors high visibility clothing products are certified according to these standards, giving professionals the confidence of a technically validated PPE with proven performance in demanding environments.
