Descrição Produto

The Double Nylon Lanyard with Shock Absorber is personal protective equipment against falls, designed for operators in construction, scaffolding assembly, and industrial maintenance. This continuous attachment system ensures the worker remains permanently anchored to a secure point while moving and transitioning between different sections of elevated structures.

The device features a central open energy absorber designed for controlled deceleration, effectively dissipating impact forces generated in a potential free fall. With a twin-leg configuration, the two restraint lanyards allow for frequent horizontal and vertical movements without interrupting the safety connection to the workstation.

Features

Lanyard type: double-ended with two 120-centimeter ropes each
Total length: 180 centimeters including end connectors
Shock absorption: open energy absorber for progressive deceleration
Scaffold hooks: two connectors with a 52-millimeter free opening
Harness connection: one basic carabiner for direct attachment
Rated capacity: maximum load rated at 100 kilograms
Lifespan: 10 years from the manufacture date indicated on the label
Packaging: supplied in individual box for product preservation

Composition

Structure made of high-strength nylon rope, equipped with metal connection components and a textile shock-absorbing device.

Certifications and Standards

EN 354: technical safety requirements for lanyards
EN 355: test specifications for fall arrest energy absorbers
EN 362: standards applicable to connectors and technical carabiners
CE and UKCA marking of conformity for personal protective equipment

Uses

Suitable for work at height involving movement on metal structures, work platforms, factory maintenance, and tubular scaffolding assembly.

This equipment is a fundamental element for building effective fall protection systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and reliable restraint in demanding work environments.
