Descrição Produto

The 140kg double lanyard with shock absorber is a personal protective equipment for fall arrest designed for professionals in construction, maintenance, and industry who perform tasks at height. The main function of this double lanyard is to dissipate the energy of impact in case of a free fall through its integrated shock absorber, ensuring the safe retention of the operator with controlled deceleration forces in the vertical plane.

The two-leg design allows for at least one anchored point to be maintained during transitions between scaffold sections, ladders, or structural profiles. The elastic straps of this system automatically retract to follow body movement, substantially reducing slack in the work area and actively minimizing the risk of tripping or accidental snagging on surrounding edges and protrusions.

Features

Load capacity: maximum nominal weight tested up to 140 kg
Total length: 180 cm with connectors included when fully extended
Strap structure: anti-trip elastic webbing that prevents snagging on hardware
Structural connectors: large opening hooks (52 mm) for attachment to scaffold tubes
Harness connector: automatic locking carabiner for quick and reliable connection
Energy absorber: integrated deceleration system for dissipating impact forces
Lifespan: durability up to 10 years from the manufacturing date indicated on the label
Packaging: packed in individual retail box

Certifications and Standards

EN 354: European standard for lanyards and safety lines
EN 355: requirements for energy absorbers for nominal loads up to 140 kg
EN 362: specifications for connectors and metal carabiners in fall arrest systems
Marking: compliance with CE and UKCA certification regulatory requirements

Uses

This system is suitable for scaffolding assembly and disassembly, continuous progression on metal structures, technical maintenance of roofs, work on telecommunication poles, and engineering interventions on industrial towers.

It constitutes an indispensable retention component for maintaining permanent connection to anchor points with complete stability and mechanical safety.
