Product Description
The FR Hood Balaclava is a flame-resistant insulating hood and liner designed for professional use over head protection equipment in demanding industrial environments. This model was developed for workers who need enhanced protection against heat, flame, and thermal hazards without compromising the stability of their safety helmet. It easily attaches using four hook-and-loop straps, ensuring a firm and continuous fit to the harness of most helmets on the market throughout the entire work shift.
The balaclava features an inner lining designed to retain body heat and provide comfort in adverse weather conditions or cold seasons. Its functional cut ensures full compatibility with the simultaneous use of a chin strap, allowing compliance with all helmet retention standards. A rear elasticated section allows for freedom of movement when flexing and turning the neck, preventing pulling or displacement. The fabric also has a UPF 40 sun protection rating, blocking 98% of ultraviolet rays during outdoor tasks.
