Skechers Work

SKECHERS protective footwear stands out for its combination of safety and exceptional comfort. Key features include Memory Foam insoles that provide personalized cushioning, non-slip soles that are resistant to oils and chemicals, and steel or composite toe caps for impact protection. Many models also include puncture protection, anti-static properties, resistance to extreme temperatures and shock absorption systems. At RAG Tailors, we carefully select models that offer Relaxed Fit technology for greater comfort during long working hours, ensuring that professionals enjoy complete protection without sacrificing their well-being.

Choosing the right SKECHERS Work footwear will vary depending on the sector and the specific requirements of each environment. For the catering and hotel industry, we recommend non-slip and water-resistant models, while for construction and industry, steel-toe boots with puncture protection are ideal. Healthcare professionals benefit from lightweight, antibacterial footwear with good cushioning. At RAG Tailors, we offer expert advice to help identify the specific needs of your activity, considering factors such as the flooring of the workplace, exposure to liquids or chemicals, and the length of the working day. This tailored approach ensures that each professional uses the SKECHERS footwear that is best suited to their role.

SKECHERS safety footwear meets stringent international safety standards, including the European EN ISO 20345:2011 certification, which sets out fundamental requirements for safety footwear in professional environments. This certification ensures that the footwear has characteristics such as resistance to impact, compression and penetration. Depending on the model, there are additional classifications such as SB (basic protection), S1 (protection against static electricity and energy absorption), S2 (water resistance) and S3 (perforation resistance). At RAG Tailors, we provide detailed information on the specific certifications for each SKECHERS model, ensuring that our customers can make informed choices that meet the regulatory requirements of their sector.

To ensure the longevity and effectiveness of your SKECHERS protective footwear, we recommend regular cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap, avoiding the use of aggressive chemicals that could damage the materials. It is essential to let the footwear dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources. For leather models, occasionally apply an appropriate conditioner. Regularly replace the insoles to maintain comfort and hygiene. It is crucial to periodically inspect the footwear for damage to the toe cap, sole or seams, as wear and tear can compromise the protection. At RAG Tailors, we advise rotating between two pairs of footwear when possible, thus prolonging the useful life and maintaining the safety properties of your SKECHERS Work.

SKECHERS Work footwear incorporates innovative technologies that guarantee exceptional comfort during long working hours. The Air-Cooled Memory Foam technology stands out, offering insoles with personalized cushioning and superior breathability, adapting to the shape of the foot. Relaxed Fit technology provides a wider fit in the toe area, avoiding pressure and discomfort. Many models also include the Gel-Infused Memory Foam system for additional cushioning and impact dispersion, while the lightweight midsole with Lightweight FlexSole technology absorbs shocks and reduces muscle fatigue. The combination of these technologies results in professional footwear that combines maximum protection with long-lasting comfort, a feature that RAG Tailors specialists always highlight during the personalized consultancy process.

SKECHERS slip-resistant footwear is designed to provide superior traction on a variety of challenging surfaces. Slip Resistant technology uses special rubber compounds and outsole patterns designed to disperse liquids, providing stability on wet, oily or waxed floors common in restaurants, hospitals and industrial settings. SKECHERS Work models feature multi-directional grooves that increase ground contact and improve grip on uneven surfaces such as concrete, metal and wood. Particularly effective in food service, hospitality and healthcare environments, these shoes significantly reduce the risk of falls – a leading cause of workplace accidents. At RAG Tailors, we assess each customer’s specific needs to recommend the model with the appropriate level of slip resistance for their work environment.

Check the size guide for your chosen model and compare the measurements with the length of your feet. Measure both feet and use the larger one as a reference, taking into account the socks you wear at work. Fit can vary between models, so do not choose solely based on your usual shoe size. When trying them on, make sure your toes have room and your heel stays secure without excessive pressure. If you are unsure between two sizes, contact RAG Tailors with the product reference and your measurements before ordering.
