The best materials for fishmonger aprons are waterproof, durable and easy to clean. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is widely used because it is resistant to water, grease and cleaning products, making it ideal for handling fish. At RAG Tailors, we recommend PVC aprons for professionals who work in humid and demanding environments, such as fishmongers and fish industry production lines. These professional aprons offer complete protection against contamination and are very comfortable to wear, allowing mobility during long working hours.

Waterproof fishmonger aprons offer the user several advantages: they prevent direct contact with water, blood and oils present in fish, keep clothes dry and help maintain hygiene standards in the workplace. They are especially useful for fishmongers and other professionals who need constant protection against fluids. RAG Tailors aprons are designed with a focus on durability and comfort, featuring reinforced seams and secure straps. In addition, they can be customized to standardize teams and reinforce the company's professional image.

Proper cleaning of fishmonger aprons is essential to ensure hygiene and extend the product’s useful life. We recommend that waterproof aprons, such as PVC models, be washed with warm water, neutral soap and a soft cloth or soft brush, avoiding abrasive products that could damage the material. After washing, dry naturally in the shade, avoiding direct exposure to sunlight or sources of intense heat. At RAG Tailors, all of our professional fishmonger aprons are tested to ensure they withstand frequent cleaning in demanding industrial and food environments.

The main difference between canvas aprons and PVC aprons is their waterproofing and intended use. PVC aprons for handling fish are completely waterproof, lightweight and ideal for areas with high levels of contact with liquids. Canvas aprons, although resistant, do not offer the same level of protection against constant humidity and are more suitable for dry activities or those with a lower risk of splashing. Therefore, at RAG Tailors we always recommend PVC aprons for professionals in the fish industry who require effective barriers against water and grease.

Yes, professional aprons for fishmongers must strictly comply with current hygiene and food safety standards. Models such as RAG Tailors' PVC protective aprons are produced in accordance with strict guidelines for the food sector, offering smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces free of porosities where bacteria can proliferate. This personal protective equipment contributes to the safety of the final product and the protection of the employee, being compatible with audits and requirements of regulatory bodies.

Yes, at RAG Tailors you can personalise fishmonger aprons with logos, names or graphic elements through embroidery, screen printing or stamping. This option is ideal for companies that value a consistent professional image and want to standardise their team. To request personalisation, you must send an email with the image and references you want. The delivery time for these orders is 10 to 15 working days. In addition to reinforcing the company's visual identity, personalisation also helps to identify employees and improves presentation at points of sale such as markets and fishmongers.
