Safety Trainers

PPE footwear is crucial for protecting workers from accidents and injuries in the workplace. This type of safety footwear significantly reduces the risk of crushing, punctures, slipping and electric shocks. It also contributes to comfort during long periods of use and improves posture and stability. RAG Tailors offers protective footwear models that combine innovation and resistance, while complying with the required safety standards, to ensure effective protection in different professional sectors.

When choosing safety footwear, several factors should be taken into account, such as the type of professional activity, the level of risk involved, applicable regulations and the characteristics of the work environment. For example, for construction or humid environments, S3 PPE shoes with steel toecaps and non-slip soles are ideal. Professionals such as electricians should opt for models with electrical insulation. RAG Tailors offers a wide selection of PPE shoes that combine functionality, comfort and resistance, making it easier to choose the right one for each profession.

RAG Tailors’ PPE shoes are distinguished by their excellent durability, comfort and ergonomic design. Many models feature a steel or composite toe cap, SRC non-slip sole, antistatic properties and hydrocarbon resistance. Options with specific features such as anti-perforation protection (S3), water resistance (WRU) and anti-impact insole are available. In addition, our models comply with all European certifications, offering a perfect balance between safety and well-being during the working day.

To ensure greater durability and effectiveness of PPE footwear, it is essential to carry out regular maintenance. The footwear should be cleaned after each use, removing residue with a damp cloth and allowed to dry at room temperature, avoiding direct sources of heat. Periodically check the condition of the sole, toe cap and outer materials. In the event of significant wear, it is recommended to replace the product. RAG Tailors recommends always following the maintenance instructions provided with each model to preserve the protective features of the safety footwear.

The S1, S2 and S3 classifications refer to the EN ISO 20345 technical standards and indicate different levels of protection in PPE footwear. S1 offers a protective toe cap, antistatic properties and shock absorption in the heel. S2 includes, in addition to the properties of S1, resistance to water penetration. S3 combines all of the above features and adds an anti-perforation insole and a treaded sole for greater grip. At RAG Tailors you can find solutions in all of these categories, ideal for different types of environments and jobs.

Yes, all protective footwear classified as PPE must comply with the European standard EN ISO 20345. This legislation guarantees that the product has undergone rigorous resistance and safety tests. They must have a visible CE marking and identify their protection class (such as S1, S2, S3). The certified PPE shoes provided by RAG Tailors all comply with the legal requirements, ensuring the maximum protection and quality required in a professional work environment.
