Bath Towels

The best 100% cotton bath towels are characterized by their high grammage (between 500g/m² and 700g/m²) and long-staple cotton, such as Egyptian or Turkish. These towels stand out for their exceptional absorption capacity, unparalleled softness and superior durability. At RAG Tailors, we carefully select high-quality cotton towels that are washable at temperatures up to 60°C and maintain their properties even after multiple washes. 100% natural cotton is also hypoallergenic, making it ideal for sensitive skin, as well as being biodegradable, representing a more sustainable choice for those who value environmental impact.

To choose truly soft and absorbent bath towels, you should pay attention to the grammage (ideally above 500g/m²), the material (Egyptian or Turkish cotton offers superior absorbency) and the type of weave (towels with 'zero twist' technology are extremely soft). For professional use in hotels or spas, we recommend towels that are bleach-tolerant and can be washed at high temperatures (up to 90°C), ensuring perfect hygiene. Towels with an antibacterial finish, available from RAG Tailors, are ideal for clinics and healthcare establishments. Always check the density and feel of the material before purchasing, as denser towels tend to be more absorbent and maintain their quality for longer.

To preserve the softness and absorbency of your bath towels after several washes, follow these essential tips: wash them first without using detergent to remove manufacturing residues; use warm (not hot) water for regular washes; reduce the amount of detergent to the minimum necessary, as excess detergent leaves residues that harden the fibers; replace traditional fabric softener with white vinegar (half a cup) in the rinse cycle; avoid drying them completely in the machine, opting to finish them outdoors; shake the towels before hanging them to maintain the softness of the fibers. For professional towels, such as those from RAG Tailors, always follow the specific temperature and wash cycle instructions to ensure the longevity of the product.

Cotton and microfibre towels have distinctly different characteristics. Cotton towels are naturally softer, extremely absorbent and feel like traditional luxury on the skin. They are perfect for home use and luxury hotels, although they dry more slowly. On the other hand, microfibre towels, made from ultra-fine synthetic fibres, stand out for their quick drying, lightness and compactness. At RAG Tailors, we offer microfibre towels with antibacterial properties and bleach tolerance, ideal for clinics and healthcare facilities that require frequent cleaning at high temperatures (up to 90°C). While cotton provides a more sumptuous feel, microfibre offers superior practicality and durability in heavy-use environments.

Investing in luxury bath towels is definitely worth it, both in terms of immediate comfort and long-term savings. Premium towels, such as those available at RAG Tailors, are made from high-quality materials and advanced technologies that ensure superior absorbency, extra softness and exceptional durability even after hundreds of washes. The long-staple Egyptian or Turkish cotton used in these towels maintains its quality over the years, avoiding the need for frequent replacements. For businesses such as hotels, spas or clinics, luxury towels significantly enhance the customer experience, as well as being more resistant to heavy use and industrial washing processes, representing a smart investment that pays for itself over time.

Bath towel personalization is a unique service that RAG Tailors offers with excellence. Options include high-precision embroidery, digital printing and screen printing, all applicable to different areas of the towel. To start a personalized order, simply send an email with the desired references and the image or logo to be applied to request a detailed quote. The personalization process takes between 10 and 15 business days to complete, ensuring a professional and long-lasting finish. This option is particularly valued by hotels, spas, clinics and companies that wish to reinforce their visual identity, or even for exclusive corporate gifts and special events, adding a touch of exclusivity to premium bath towels.

The ideal weight for bath towels that combine excellent absorbency with superior durability is between 500g/m² and 700g/m². Towels in this weight range offer the perfect balance: they are thick enough to absorb moisture quickly, providing a luxurious feel, but not so heavy that they are difficult to dry completely between uses. For intensive professional use, such as in hotels and spas, we recommend towels closer to 600g/m², as they withstand frequent washing better. At RAG Tailors, we offer premium towels in these ideal weights, manufactured using techniques that maximize durability without compromising softness. Please note that towels above 700g/m² can be extremely luxurious, but they generally take longer to dry completely and may not be the most practical choice for all environments.
